Hundreds of producers of the yachting world attended the gala Flagship Night, sponsored by the German publicher Delius-Klasing, to attend the "European Yacht of the Year" in 2013. And the specialists have inspected and tested 25 nominated boats d in this category, the jury, held the world experts in the construction of yachts, were winners in five categories. Here are the yachts of European in design, Efficiency and CARMA ...


Special Yachts: J/70
Good acceleration, precision and easy handling of the rudder, a plan of rigging ev = cient and simple look, attractive and functional. J/70 will be a pleasing model racing sailors, but also passionate familiilro navigation. J Boats is the first model with a folding keel, which began to be a smashing success after winning the title of "Yacht of the Year" in the USA.

Cruiser Performance: Dufour 36
Dufour 36 looks a bit unusual, with a big bow, but it is very balanced. Added volume offers space and comfort in the masthead, and the details, such as double door of the cabin, are downright surprising, giving it a custom look. It is another example of successful design developed by Umberto Felci for Dufour.

Family Cruisers: RM 1260
This vessel convinced the jury with the versatility and range of options in different models. Besides the design, stability and comfort of a well calculated for a whole family, the yacht has proven superior performance during the evaluation. A model in which safety comes first, followed by the structure, design and performance /

Luxury Yachts: Italy 13.98
Irom Italians and said the word. A thin hull and a VIP cabin gracefully proportioned, without compromising on comfort. It has a detailed plan to sail navigation can be easily operated, offers plenty of space both on deck and inside the ship, and many yacht details are ...folding.Graceful the design combines all structures in an elegant manner, providing the sails aspectull traditional image of a typical romance.

Multihulls: Outremer 5 X
Chic, fast, and easy to handle for a small crew. Known as "The Professor" on the ocean racing hero and two-time winner of the Vendée Globe, Michel Desjoyeaux provided some vital ideas to design this type sailing catamaran. Surprisingly, it can be called Spartan, despite steep lines as falling into the category of lightweight construction methods that help increase performance speed during navigation.
